Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026
The short version
- Echo is an AI. It can be wrong, so check what matters, and don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or emergency help.
- When you ask Echo to act for you, you're responsible for those actions, so review anything that can't be undone.
- Your content stays yours. We use it only to run Echo for you.
- Use Echo lawfully and kindly, and don't try to break it.
- Disputes go first to a conversation with us, then to individual arbitration (Section 16), which you can opt out of.

1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Fulfilled ("Fulfilled," "we," "us") and cover Echo by text message, the web app at app.fulfilled.so, fulfilled.so, and our related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
Section 16 requires most disputes to be resolved through individual arbitration, not class actions or jury trials, unless you opt out.
2. Who can use Echo
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Your account is tied to your phone number and is for you alone. Keep your phone and sign-in codes secure; you're responsible for activity on your account, and you should tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. What Echo is
Echo is an AI assistant built to help you pursue your dreams and goals. You give Echo messages, files, and other content ("Input"). Echo responds with text, plans, and other content ("Output"), and can take actions in the Services or in services you connect, such as creating a milestone or adding an event to your calendar ("Actions").
Echo is new and improving quickly. What it can do will change over time, and some features may be limited to certain people while we test them.
4. When Echo acts for you
By asking Echo to do something, or by allowing it to act on your behalf, you authorize it to take that Action for you. Echo may ask you to confirm before important Actions, but it won't always, and our safeguards can't catch every mistake.
- You're responsible for Actions taken at your request or with your permission, including messages sent, events scheduled, and commitments made for you.
- Some Actions can't be undone. Review what Echo plans to do and what it did, especially anything involving money, other people, or deadlines.
- If Echo deals with another business for you, such as a booking or a purchase, that business's terms apply, and any dispute about what it provided is between you and that business.
- Tell us if Echo does something you didn't ask for, so we can look into it and fix it.
5. AI limits and advice
Echo's Output is generated by AI. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, even when it sounds confident. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Echo can help you think through decisions, but it is not a doctor, therapist, lawyer, or financial advisor, and its Output isn't professional advice. The choices you make with Echo's help are yours.
Echo is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at any time.
6. Your content
You own your Input, and as between you and us, you own your Output. You're responsible for having the rights to the Input you provide. Output may not be unique: Echo may give similar responses to other people.
You give us permission to host, store, process, and transmit your Input and Output to provide, secure, and improve the Services, including to train and evaluate the AI models that power Echo, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of training at any time. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups that expire on the schedule in the Privacy Policy and models already trained.
7. Connected services
You can connect other services, such as Google Calendar and Google Tasks. By connecting one, you allow Echo to access and act in it within the permissions you grant, and you confirm that doing so is allowed under that service's terms. Those services are run by other companies, and we aren't responsible for them. You can disconnect a service at any time.
8. Text messaging
Echo talks with you by text message, including iMessage and SMS. By texting Echo or giving us your number, you agree to receive messages from Echo at that number, including replies, sign-in codes, check-ins and reminders you set up, and service notices.
- Message frequency varies with how you use Echo.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop messages at any time, and HELP for help, or email hello@fulfilled.so. Stopping messages means Echo can no longer reach you by text.
- Agreeing to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use the Services to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- harass, threaten, deceive, or harm anyone, or have Echo contact people who don't want to hear from you;
- violate anyone's privacy or intellectual property;
- create content that sexually exploits children, promotes violence, or is otherwise harmful;
- send spam, or use Echo for bulk or automated messaging;
- access another person's account or data, or get around access limits or safeguards;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Services, or probe them for vulnerabilities without our permission; or
- use the Services or Output to build a competing product or train a competing model.
If you find a security issue, please report it to us privately so we can fix it.
10. Fees
Echo is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show the price and terms before you buy, and you'll be able to cancel at any time. We won't charge you without your agreement.
11. Our property and feedback
We own the Services, including the software, design, and the Fulfilled and Echo names and logos. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. Changes and early features
We're constantly improving Echo, so we may add, change, or remove features. Some features may be labeled as early or experimental; they may not work as expected, so use them with extra care. The Services may sometimes be unavailable.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using the Services and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if needed to protect you, other people, or the Services, or if we stop offering the Services. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data. Sections 5, 6, 11, and 14 to 17 continue to apply after your use ends.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES, OUTPUT, AND ACTIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, FULFILLED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, OR THAT ACTIONS WILL ACHIEVE THE RESULT YOU WANT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON'T ALLOW THESE DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
15. Limits on liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, FULFILLED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITS DON'T APPLY WHERE THE LAW DOESN'T ALLOW THEM.
You agree to cover Fulfilled's reasonable losses and legal costs from claims by others arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
16. Resolving disputes
Talk to us first. Most problems can be solved quickly. Before filing a claim, email us at hello@fulfilled.so with a description of the issue, and we'll both try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
Arbitration. If we can't resolve it, you and Fulfilled agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be decided by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its applicable rules, rather than in court. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, or ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property. If the arbitration fees would be prohibitively expensive for you, we'll pay them.
No class actions. You and Fulfilled may bring claims only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding, and you both waive the right to a jury trial.
You can opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms, with your name, phone number, and a clear statement that you are opting out. If this section is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided in court instead.
17. General terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where a dispute goes to court, it will be decided in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top, and we'll give you advance notice of material changes by text message or in the app. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept it.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
